Baobab Asset Management (BAM) actively seeks and invests in small to midsize natural resource producers. Started in 2009, BAM has invested globally ranging from the DRC to Colorado. Regardless of location, BAM strives to work with excellent management focused on an economically relevant material.
As a subsidiary to BAM, Baobab Physical Commodities (BPC) was founded in 2014 to manage the physical contracting and logistics from the BAM network. BPC engages in the contracting, the purchase and delivery of various material in the natural resource space. This strategy is often referred to as physical trading. BPC provides all due diligence and performance to BAM on various industry counterparties, which will serve as a research tool to BAM’s investment strategy.
